COMPANY ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

EcoLogicLiving excels in the design, supply and maintenance of renewable energy and energy efficient products, including heat pumps, biomass boilers, solar thermal, solar PV, heat recovery and rainwater harvesting. By offering a ‘holistic’ approach, and integrated solutions, we aim to provide systems which give the maximum cost and carbon savings for customers.

At EcoLogicLiving we recognise that all administrative and operational processes have the potential to cause environmental harm and that the world’s resources are not limitless. Therefore we accept a social and moral responsibility for not only complying with legislation, but for putting into place environmentally friendly measures which go beyond legislative requirements.

We appreciate that expressing concern for the environment is not a substitute for positive action in favour of the environment, and willingly accept the fact that financial and manpower resources have to be allocated to ensure that good environmental practice is carried out in all areas of the company’s operations. As a company operating in the environmental sector, we aim to ‘live by our principles’. The Company are committed to energy use reduction, ensuring the sustainability of the beautiful landscape in which we live, helping to achieve local and global environmental targets, and the increase of education about renewable energy throughout all sectors of society.

EcoLogicLiving will design and implement a system to reduce energy consumption and resource waste over the next 12 months. The Company already has a target to recycle 90% of paper and cardboard and will work to increase the recycling level for plastic and household waste. In its actions, the Company constantly strives to minimise and prevent pollution. These actions will demonstrate to the local community how improving the efficiency of our operations can minimise the impact on the natural environment.

The specific arrangements for the implementation of all of the measures in relation to the Company Environmental Policy lie with all employees. We therefore recognise the importance of educating and training employees in environmental issues and the environmental effects of their activities.
